Andrew is the director and founder of the tax advisory and legal firm of ABA Consulting. Andrew works with other professional services firms across Queensland including law firms, accounting practices, securities brokers, financial planners, financial institutions, and Government as part of a collaborative approach to client service.
His mission at ABA is to navigate clients through the complexities of global business and international taxation. Andrew also specialises in the R&D and Government Incentives department where he aims to simplify and deconstruct the processes so that clients can maximise returns, increase business compliance, mitigate risk and importantly accelerate commercialisation and profitability.
His extensive national and global experience spans areas of global corporate expansion, repatriation of profit, taxation of foreign gains and losses and specialised advice regarding businesses tax requirements. Andrew’s focus on international taxation of businesses and international corporate group structuring is a key theme of his professional practice which has seen him collaborate with some of Queensland’s leading businesses.
In addition to Andrew’s contribution to the business community, he volunteers as President of the Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc. His skills and expertise are applied to oversee a Management Committee and staff absolutely dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness amongst some of our most vulnerable members of the community.
Andrew is also a guest lecturer at La Trobe University teaching Global Business Law.
